Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the MyQuitPal mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

You agree to use MyQuitPal only for its intended purpose as a personal recovery and self-improvement tool. You must not:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Transmit harmful code, malware, or interfere with the App's operation
• Misuse the AI Coach by submitting harmful or abusive content
• Share your account credentials with others or create multiple accounts
• Use the App to collect data about other users

You may use certain features of MyQuitPal without creating an account. If you choose to sign in (via Apple Sign In or other supported methods), you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

You can delete your account and all associated cloud data at any time through the App's settings. Local data stored on your device is automatically deleted when you uninstall the App.

MyQuitPal includes an AI-powered coaching feature powered by Google Gemini. While designed to be helpful, the AI Coach:

• Does not provide medical, psychological, or professional therapeutic advice
• May occasionally produce inaccurate or unhelpful responses
• Should not be relied upon in crisis situations — if you are in crisis, please contact a helpline or emergency services
• Sends your messages to Google Gemini's API for processing — see our Privacy Policy for details

All content, features, and functionality of MyQuitPal — including but not limited to the design, text, graphics, logos, icons, and software — are the exclusive property of MyQuitPal and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

MyQuitPal may offer premium features through in-app subscriptions managed by the Apple App Store. Subscription terms, pricing, and renewal policies are governed by Apple's terms and will be clearly displayed before purchase.

• Premium features and pricing are subject to change during beta
• Refunds are handled by Apple per their App Store refund policy

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MyQuitPal and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to MyQuitPal at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may stop using the App at any time by simply uninstalling it.

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Any cloud-synced data may be deleted after a reasonable retention period unless you request earlier deletion.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first.

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may notify you through the App. Your continued use of MyQuitPal after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
