Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the MyQuitPal mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

You must be at least 18, legally able to enter these Terms, and use MyQuitPal only for its intended purpose as a personal recovery and self-improvement tool. You must not:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Transmit harmful code, malware, or interfere with the App's operation
• Misuse the AI Coach by submitting harmful or abusive content
• Share your account credentials with others or impersonate another person
• Use the App to collect data about other users

You may use certain features of MyQuitPal without creating an account. If you choose to sign in (via Apple Sign In or other supported methods), you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

You can request account deletion and use separate controls to delete or reset local and cloud-backed categories. Deleting the App removes its local container, subject to iOS backup behavior you control, but does not cancel an Apple subscription.

MyQuitPal includes optional AI-powered Coach and Journal features and an optional Future You voice feature. These features:

• Do not provide medical, psychological, or professional therapeutic advice
• May occasionally produce inaccurate or unhelpful responses
• Must not be relied upon for medical, legal, safety, or emergency decisions
• Transmit information only through the user actions and disclosures described in our Privacy Policy
• May be unavailable because of connectivity, provider outages, safety controls, or remote incident switches

All content, features, and functionality of MyQuitPal — including but not limited to the design, text, graphics, logos, icons, and software — are the exclusive property of MyQuitPal and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Paid access is sold through Apple's in-app purchase system. The paywall displays the available billing periods, localized price, any eligible offer, and renewal terms before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Apple at least as required by Apple's current rules.

• Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings
• Deleting the App or your MyQuitPal account does not cancel an Apple subscription
• Restore Purchases can restore a qualifying entitlement for the App Store account, subject to Apple and RevenueCat availability
• Apple controls billing, refunds, Ask to Buy, pending approval, and payment disputes under Apple's terms

Phone Reset depends on Apple's Family Controls authorization, entitlements, Device Activity, Managed Settings, and device behavior. You are responsible for choosing a duration and understanding which applications or categories are shielded.

Use the in-app cancellation or recovery controls if a shield remains unexpectedly, and do not use Phone Reset where temporary device restriction could create a safety risk.

Features may be unavailable because of connectivity, device settings, provider outages, safety controls, legal requirements, or remote incident switches. We may update, suspend, or discontinue a feature while respecting rights that cannot legally be waived.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MyQuitPal and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.

We may restrict service for fraud, abuse, security threats, illegal conduct, or a material violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App, delete selected data, or request account deletion.

Provisions that by their nature should survive, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, and dispute terms, continue after termination.

These Terms supplement the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement where it applies. Mandatory consumer protections and other rights that cannot legally be waived remain in effect. Any dispute should first be raised through the contact route below so the parties can attempt good-faith resolution.

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may notify you through the App. Your continued use of MyQuitPal after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
